Virtual Morse Theory on Ωham(m, Ω)

چکیده
which is part of a certain 2d Hamiltonian cohomological field theory [11]. Here we use this map to study the topology of ΩHam(M, ω) and its Hofer geometric properties via a kind of virtual Morse theory for the positive Hofer length functional, L : ΩHam(M, ω) → R . We also use Ψ to prove a kind of index theorem for some critical points of L . We apply this theory to get some concrete applications to topology, geometry of ΩHam(G/T) .

A New Modification of Morse Potential Energy Function
Interaction of meso — tetrakis (p-sulphonato phenyl) porphyrin (hereafter abbreviated to TSPP)with Na+ has been examined using HF level of theory with 6-31G* basis set. Counterpoise (CP)correction has been used to show the extent of the basis set superposition error (BSSE) on thepotential energy curves. The numbers of Na+ have a significant effect on the calculated potentialenergy curve (includ...
متن کاملQuantum characteristic classes and the Hofer metric
Given a closed monotone symplectic manifold M , we define certain characteristic cohomology classes of the free loop space LHam(M, ω) with values in QH∗(M) , and their S1 equivariant version. These classes generalize the Seidel representation and satisfy versions of the axioms for Chern classes. In particular there is a Whitney sum formula, which gives rise to a graded ring homomorphism from th...
متن کاملQuantum Characteristic Classes and Energy Flow on Loop Groups
In [13] we defined characteristic cohomology classes of the free loop space LHam(M, ω) and have shown that these classes give rise to a graded ring homomorphism Ψ : H∗(LHam(M, ω), Q)→ QH∗+2n(M). Here we explore connections of the map Ψ with Kähler geometry and energy flow on the loop spaces of compact Lie groups. Using this, we partially compute the composition Ψ : H∗(ΩG) → H∗(ΩHam(G/T )) → QH∗...
متن کاملOn the Topology and Analysis
We consider systems (M,ω, g) withM a closed smooth manifold, ω a real valued closed one form and g a Riemannian metric, so that (ω, g) is a Morse-Smale pair, Definition 2. We introduce a numerical invariant ρ(ω, g) ∈ [0,∞] and using the theory of Dirichlet series and extensions of Witten-Helffer-Sjöstrand results improve Morse-Novikov theory for (M,ω, g) provided ρ(ω, g) < ∞. For example we sho...
متن کاملHolomorphic Morse Inequalities in Singular Reduction
We extend our Morse type inequalities for holomorphic symplectic reductions [TZ1, 2] to the case of singular reductions. 0. Introduction and the statement of main results Let (M, ω) be a closed symplectic manifold. We make the assumption that there is a Hermitian line bundle L over M admitting a Hermitian connection ∇L with the property that √−1 2π (∇L)2 = ω. When such a line bundle exists, it ...
